On 27.2.2025 & 28.02.2025, a session on Innovation Development: “Mentoring and Evaluation of Innovative Project Ideas by the Innovation Ambassadors" was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Information Technology. The session was evaluated by Mrs. Euodial, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli, from 9.30 AM to 4.00 PM. A total of 61 Students and 2 faculty members participated. This event was coordinated by Mr. F. Richard Singh Samuel, AP/IT. The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Lourdes Poobala Rayen, EDC Director.
The final-year Information Technology students presented their projects in front of expert members from the IT department during the innovative project presentation on both the days. While presenting their projects, students were asked to highlight the technical features and other important aspects. Enthusiastically, students showcased their innovative project ideas and confidently defended their proposals.
The expert member provided valuable insights to scale up the innovative ideas further by highlighting the importance of innovation in the field of Information Technology. Additionally, constructive suggestions were given for further improvement of the projects. Some projects were highly appreciated by the experts for their potential in addressing real-world technological challenges and contributing to advancements in the IT sector.
Furthermore, students were encouraged to upload their project ideas on the YUKTHI portal and explore opportunities to transform their projects into viable products in the future.
