On 25.2.2025 a session on “AVENUES FOR SMALL BUSINESS ENTREPRENEURSHIP” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Business System. This session was handled by P.Harries Pandi ,Heyareweare CEO, Startup Founder, FXEC. Fifty Three students from first year CSBS and 1 faculty participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Ms.P.Sornabala, Assistant Professor, Department of CSBS from 1.00PM to 4.00PM.
The program commenced with an introduction of the guest speaker, who highlighted various avenues for small business entrepreneurship. He explained the significance of entrepreneurs in driving innovation and economic growth. The session covered key aspects such as startup incubation, government support, and digital transformation. The speaker emphasized the role of startup incubation centers in fostering entrepreneurial innovation through mentorship, funding opportunities, and business model development, particularly in fintech, healthcare, and e-commerce. Additionally, government initiatives, including startup grants, MSME loans, and venture capital, were discussed to encourage students to embrace sustainable and impactful business models.
The session focused on digital transformation, underscoring the role of innovation in leveraging social media marketing, AI-driven analytics, and e-commerce strategies for business expansion. Case studies of successful entrepreneurs highlighted how innovation fuels market growth. The program motivated students to adopt creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship as key drivers of success, reinforcing the impact of technological advancements and adaptability in sustaining competitive ventures.
