On 13.2.2025 a session on “Tech-Driven Entrepreneurship: AI Drones for Forest Protection and Eco-Sustainability” was organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and IIC in association with the Department of Computer Science and Business System. This session was handled by Mr.D.S.Barvin, Applied Lab Incharge, Department of CSBS, FXEC. Fifty one students from second year CSBS and 1 faculty participated in the program. The program was coordinated by Ms.P.Sornabala, Assistant Professor, Department of CSBS from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
The program began with an introduction of the guest speaker. The guest speaker spoke about the entrepreneurial opportunities in the transformative potential of AI-powered drones for forest protection and environmental sustainability. The session provided students with excellent insights into how AI technology might be integrated with environmental sustainability efforts. The speaker highlighted the entrepreneurial prospects in the forest and agricultural sector demonstrating how tech-driven solutions such as AI drones plays a significant role in the environmental challenge but also creates opportunities for the entrepreneurs to take advantage and make profit out of it.
Students gained better understanding of how emerging technologies such as AI drones can shape future industries and provide entrepreneurial opportunities particularly in the context of global sustainability. The session was an eyeopener on how tech-driven entrepreneurship can contribute to both environmental conservation and business success, encouraging them to pursue similar innovative solutions in their future ventures.
